Who We Are

The Open Bag came into existence out of the NEED to do something about the unused apparels that end up in landfills, don't degrade and contribute to 35% of oceanic micro-plastics

We want to build a truly circular fashion economy, and hence we are on the mission to build India's largest pre-loved and sustainable fashion platform

We have picked brands that have shown sustainability in various aspects and that stay true to their purpose. We pay special attention to labels that observe:

  1. Ethical practices: respect their workers and pay them fair living wages as per the constitution of the respective country

  2. Natural/Sustainable Raw Materials: Use certified and/or dead-stock fabrics for their apparels helping towards a zero-waste economy

  3. Reuse/Recycle: Re-use or recycle their raw materials to transform the linear fashion economy to a more circular one
